In an effort to get back on the healthy train, post-Christmas, and keep my resolutions, I'm wondering what y'all eat for lunch? Do you leave the office for lunch everyday or pack your lunch?
My lunches are pretty boring and semi-monotonous. I'm limited to a Subway, Perfect Pita, or deli within walking distance from my office. And lately I've been on a Subway kick.
If I pack my lunch it's either a Lean Cuisine or a turkey sandwich, occasionally I'll eat tomato soup. For snacks I usually pack carrots, cucumber slices, goldfish and Greek yogurt.
Is there anything fun, easy AND interesting I'm completely missing out on?! Suggestions welcome!

I almost always pack my lunch and eat at my desk. For now I am just sticking with Lean Cuisine or Smart Ones frozen meals, but eventually when I am "back on track" I will start packing sandwiches or wraps along with some raw veggies to snack on. I also love bringing leftovers from the previous night's dinner. I also try to bring a banana with me every day.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like we eat a lot of the same things! I've been eating a lot of salad lately, along with string cheese and a 100 calorie pack for dessert. I know salad sounds boring, but there are so many varieties out there. You can go the nuts and fruit route, the tomatos and ranch route, etc... Trader Joe's also has really good pre-packaged salads.
